Cyclists With A Common Vision
We are a group that advocates the care of bicyclists and pedestrians on the road. Motorists are legally required to share roadways with cyclists, joggers, and other people. It is increasingly easy to be distracted behind the wheel of a car as time goes on. Radio, CDs, MP3 Players, Cell Phones, Mobile Internet Browsing, the list goes on and on.
Stay Focused. Stay Alert. Stay Alive.
Riding with the direction of traffic is legal. We are required to signal our turns by law. Vehicles are required to share the road with cyclists and anyone else using it for transportation. Problems still arise. Cyclists and their bikes are much smaller than a normal motor vehicle and harder to spot. We encourage riders to use lights, reflectors, and bright riding attire to stand out and increase their chances of being seen.
Educate and Inform
If you would like to help our cause, please inform anyone you can about cycling safety, join the groups listed on our Connect page, or direct people to our site. Our Stats page has information about accidents and safe riding practices. Our Benefits page has plenty of information about why you should be riding. Our News page is updated frequently with breakthroughs in technology or new services offered to aid cyclists.
